Welcome to the 3rd Quarter
Monday A-2 and A-4 will be looking at the beginnings of the Americas with the Mayan, Incan and Aztec Empires. Then we will discuss Columbus coming to America and the Colombian Exchange. Students then will look at the Social Hierarchy of the Americas post Spanish conquest.
Students will then watch Crash Course on Latin America
Students will get a homework sheet on early empires.
Tuesday B-2 will get homework sheets. They will also start a little project of making memes on 6 of the major players in South American, Central and Latin America History. These revolutions start with Napoleon and the French and North American Revolutions.
Wednesday A-2 and A-4 will start their memes project as B-2 did. It is also a half day. I will collect homework sheets. Students will get another small homework on Simon Bolivar and the Mexican Independence.
Thursday B-2 will complete their memes project and share them with me. I will collect homework sheets. Students will get another small homework on Simon Bolivar and the Mexican Independence.
Friday A-2 and A-4 will finish their memes project. I will be collecting homework sheets
