WEEK OF JANUARY 30 - FEBRUARY 3

Monday B-2 will draw a person that represents the past and we will discuss the new life of the Industrial Revolution. Students will get a homework packet will be due on Friday.

Students will present one of the America's meme.
We will then have a museum walk of pictures of the Industrial Revolution.
Lastly students will get a vocab word to draw on Industrial Revolution.

Tuesday A-2 and A-4 will do the same as Monday. Homework packet will be due on Tuesday.

Wednesday B-2 will then take notes on the differences of life before and after the Industrial Revolution. Those notes will be found here.  



Thursday A-2 and A-4 will do the same on Wednesday.

Friday A-2  and A-4 will take out computers and use them to work on Inventors and Inventions Cards. Homework packet will be collected.

WEEK OF JANUARY 23 - 27

Welcome to the 3rd Quarter

Monday A-2 and A-4 will be looking at the beginnings of the Americas with the Mayan, Incan and Aztec Empires. Then we will discuss Columbus coming to America and the Colombian Exchange. Students then will look at the Social Hierarchy of the Americas post Spanish conquest.

Students will then watch Crash Course on Latin America




Students will get a homework sheet on early empires.

Tuesday B-2 will get homework sheets. They will also start a little project of making memes on 6 of the major players in South American, Central and Latin America History. These revolutions start with Napoleon and the French and North American Revolutions.

Wednesday A-2 and A-4 will start their memes project as B-2 did.  It is also a half day. I will collect homework sheets. Students will get another small homework on Simon Bolivar and the Mexican Independence.

Thursday B-2 will complete their memes project and share them with me. I will collect homework sheets.  Students will get another small homework on Simon Bolivar and the Mexican Independence.

Friday A-2 and A-4 will finish their memes project.  I will be collecting homework sheets

WEEK OF JANUARY 17 - 20

On Tuesday A-2 will be working on the Americas by looking at what items were brought here from Europe. The Columbian Exchange. They will then work on a map of the Americas.

A-4 will be reviewing for their Mid Term Exam on Thursday.


On Wednesday B-2 will be taking their Mid Term Exam


Thursday A-4 will be taking their Mid Term Exam
A-2 will be learning about the America's  and the Aztec, Inca and Mayans
It is a half day.

Friday B-2 will be learning about the Aztec Mayan and Incas. They will start an activity on the Revolutions in the Americas using a Meme.


ALL MAKE UP WORK HAS TO BE BY WEDNESDAY AT 3 BECAUSE THE QUARTER ENDS FRIDAY!!!

WEEK OF JANUARY 9- 13

Monday B-2 will be taking a quick 10 question quiz on the French Revolution. I will also be checking the notebooks for a notebook check for a quiz grade. Then students will be  starting the America's by working on a map. The students will be getting a review sheet for the midterm.


                         
   
     

Tuesday A-2 will have a 10 question quiz on the French Revolution and Napoleon. I will be checking notebooks for a quiz grade.  Then we will be reviewing for the midterm exam that they have on Thursday the 19th..

A-4 will be having a quiz and notebook check on Tuesday. They will then work on a map of the Americas.

Wednesday B-2 will be working on the Americas by looking at some different characters that were important to the Revolutions of the 1800's that were passed on from the French and American Revolution.

Thursday A-2 has their midterm
A-4 will be doing what B-2 did on Wednesday.

Friday B-2 will be starting their review for their exam on Tuesday the 18th.

WEEK OF JANUARY 3 - 6

Monday B-2 will see us working on a worksheet on the French Revolution. This will be a review of the French Revolution.
Here is a good review of the French Revolution that we saw before vacation.








After the review we will learn about Napoleon.  We will learn about Napoleon starting with 3 people who say they are Napoleon but only one is the real deal. Students will get a homework sheet on Napoleon.

Students will make sure notebook is in good order for a notebook check on Monday.
