WEEK OF MARCH 26 - 30th

Monday will find us going to computer lab to finish up on our pictures and characters for the trial.

Tuesday will find us going over the start of WWII and the two different theatres. The Pacific and European. We will go over the build up to war and the initial start to the war with Blitzkrieg and the False War.



Wednesday- Friday the students will be working on a newspaper that covers the major battles of the war. As the students do this, they will be giving depositions in the court case. The court case will start on Monday.

Friday we will have a quiz on WWII the European Theatre. The court case and newspaper are the first grades for the 4th quarter.  The quiz on Friday will be on 3rd quarter.

WEEK OF MARCH 19 - 23

Monday will find us taking a test on WWI and the Russian Revolution.

Tuesday will find us going over how to write a DBQ. I will be asking for people to volunteer to be lawyers for a mock trial of Hitler.  Then we will be looking at the dictators of pre World War II. Students will receive a homework packet on WWII.

Wednesday we will be taking some notes on the situation of Germany, Russia and Italy in the 20's and 30s. Students will be assigned a role for the court case. We will be putting Hitler on trial for his culpability. Students will start to research their person.

Thursday will find us playing the dating game. A lady will be asking 3 contestants about themselves. These contestants are Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin

Friday we will be going over trial information. I will also be showing some clips of speeches given by the dictators. The last part of class will be looking at a biography of Adolf Hitler.  I will also be collecting the Homework Packet on WWII.

WEEK OF MARCH 12- 16

On Monday  the students will discussed the end of the war. The students will be introduced with a walking museum of Russia. This will introduce the students to the main players of the Russian Revolution.

Tuesday will find us taking notes on the Russian Revolution which can be found here.

Wednesday we will be a discussion of the Revolution and an activity that will have the students creating a CIA brief on the Revolution.

Thursday will have us finishing the CIA brief and cover the rule of Stalin.

WEEK OF MARCH 5-9

Monday will find us taking a WWI quiz. We will finish our look at weapons of war, and the out come of the war.
Tuesday is no school
Wed- Friday We will also be showing the students All Quiet on the Western Front.
