WEEK OF JUNE 8 - 12

Monday we will be finishing up Little Buddha

Tuesday we will be looking at Gandhi and India's push for independence. Then we will look at the the split of India or the partition.

Wednesday we will be moving on to China. We will be looking at a map real quick on China. Then we will be looking at Confucius and his teachings. We will be looking at the 5 relationships that guided Chinese culture for thousands of years and even today.




Thursday we will be finishing up Confucius  and Filial Piety. Then we will be looking at Doaism.

Friday we will be finishing up Doaism.  Students will also be getting an Axiom DBQ that will be part of the final exam.

WEEK OF JUNE 1 - 5

Monday will be Islamic Art and a Quiz on Islam and the Middle East

Tuesday we will be looking at India. We will take some notes on Hinduism.


Wednesday we will finish notes and work on a map of India.



Thursday we will be introduced to Buddhism  and Buddha. We will be working on a venn diagram about Hinduism and Buddhism.



Friday we will be watching Little Buddha. This movie does a great job of explaining the story of Buddha.

WEEK OF MAY 26 - 29

This week is a little crazy. We are in the midst of Senior Finals.
We are a little behind due to PARCC.

Tuesday we will be looking at Sunni vs Shiite Muslims



Wednesday we will be getting homework packet back and working on a little review project using the ipads and comic life.
