WEEK OF MAY 18 - 22

Monday we will be getting a homework packet. Here it is.
Students will be given an introductory pre-quiz on Islam and share vocabulary word. Students will be given some notes on Islam and the 5 pillars. Here


Tuesday we will have the story of Muhammad and the beginning of Islam. We will be do a little reading on him. We will review the 5 pillars of Islam.

Wednesday we will be looking at the importance of  Arabic and the Quran. Students will be getting two homework sheets.

Thursday we will be looking at the divide of Islam with Sunni and Shiites.



Friday we will be looking at Sharia or Islamic Law. I will be collecting homework packet.

WEEK OF MAY 11 - 15

Monday will find us reviewing our trial, going over the European Theater of War and going over the homework packet.

Tuesday after the quiz will find us looking at the pacific theater of war in WWII. We will be looking a Kamikaze, Island Hopping, Aircraft Carriers, the Bataan Death March and the brutal fighting in brutal conditions.

Wednesday we will be looking at the Atomic Bomb and the feelings on both sides. We will see how they have change the world today and look at Nuclear Bombs.

Thursday we will review for the test on WWII.

Friday is test on WWII and dicators

Friday we will be looking at the Cold War as a result of WWII and how it starts to effect the Middle East and India.

WEEK OF MAY 4 - 8

Monday I  will be collecting homework packet on WWII.
We will finish deposition for our trial and finish up newspapers.

Tuesday and Wednesday we will be running the court case of Hitler on Trial.
