WEEK OF OCTOBER 20 - 24

Monday will find the students going over the Venn diagram on Protestants and Catholics. Students will then be given a vocab word to draw the definition of.



 Tuesday will find us looking at Martin Luther. We will read about him and take a little comprehension quiz.




Wednesday will find us making an FBI most wanted poster for Martin Luther. It is a half day. I will be collecting homework packet.

Thursday we will look at the effect of  Protestant Revolution in England with King Henry VIII and his daughters.




On Friday we will be finishing up on Mary Tudor and Elizabeth I

WEEK OF OCTOBER 14 - 17

Tuesday we will be looking at Revolutions, This is the theme for the rest of the year. We will be looking at Revolutions as an important concept for the world.  Students will look at what a revolution is by using a Freyer Model. This helps us look at characteristics and examples.

Wednesday is READY STEP TESTING. A pre pre SAT test.  So for the classes that we have we will be getting a vocab word to draw.

Thursday we will be getting a homework packet on the Protestant Reformation. The homework packet can be found here.  It will be due next Wednesday.

We will be starting our first Revolution. We will be looking at he revolution in Religion. We will be starting the Protestant Reformation. We will be taking some notes on the Reformation. The can be found here.




Friday will us  looking at Martin Luther and the the start of the actual Protestant Reformation.

WEEK OF OCTOBER 6 - OCTOBER 10

Monday  Ms. Getchell will be coming in for a guidance talk. Here is a Ms. Getchell glam shot!


Tuesday we will finish looking at cathedrals and the Cathedral activity.

Thursday we will review for a test on Middle Ages.
