WEEK OF MARCH 18 - 22

We were running behing due to outlines of the research paper.

Monday we will have a walking museum of WWI and Russian Revolution.  We will also finish our maps on WWI.

Tuesday we will take our notes on WWI. See last weeks blog.

Wednesday we will review what we know about alliances, WWI and how it was fought. We will be looking at some of the new weapons of War.  Wednesday night homework is here.

Thursday we will be seeing a you tube video on the beginning of the war.

Friday will be a WWI simulation. Students will create the feel of WWI in the class with a paper war.

MARCH 11 - 15

Monday we will be reviewing for a test on Industrial Revolution and Imperialism.

Tuesday will be testing on Industrial Revolution and Imperialism.

Wednesday we will be starting WWI and Russian Revolution. Students will be getting a homework packet on WWI and Russian Revolution.  We will be taking our note cards and making an outline of our research paper with the blue prints and their note cards.

WEEK OF MARCH 4 - 8

Monday will start with a review of the imperialism in Africa, India and Asia with this video by John Green.



The second part of the period will be students becoming counties and making flags and alliances. Nationalism will be reinforced and it influence on Imperialism.

Tuesday and Wednesday will find us playing a game with the countries and alliances. Half day.

Thursday will be a review game of the Industrial Revolution and Imperialism.

Friday will be a test on those 2 topics.
