WEEK OF APRIL 25 - 29

Monday A-2 will be  take a few notes about the Dictators after WWI. The notes are here.
The big 3 are: Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin We will then be looking at speeches of the three.
Students will be getting a homework packet that will be due next Tuesday. It can be found here.

 Here is Joseph Stalin. He stopped applause with buzzer because no one wanted to be the first to stop clapping. Pretty boring. Notice the bottle that he drinks from. It is not water.




Here is Hitler.



 We will be looking further at the relationship of Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini had learning about them by playing the dating game.

Tuesday B-1 will be doing the same.

Wednesday A-2 will work in groups to organize information on the big 4 dictators. This will be done by  using the computers to make and design an infographic visual for the 4 dictators.

Thursday B-1 will do the same. Students will also be given a role in the trial of Adolf Hitler

Friday A-2 will be given the roles in the trial of Adolf Hitler. We will also read about his life. Then we will start our research on Hitler roles.

WEEK OF APRIL 11 - 15

 A VERY IMPORTANT AND  BUSY WEEK!

Monday B-2 will be going over their pictures of the Russian Revolution. Then students will be in groups working on the song lyrics that they will change to fit with the Russian Revolution. SEE LAST WEEKS BLOG FOR SONG. I will hand out a homework sheet 25-5  Can be found here.



Tuesday A-2 will do the same as B-2.

Wednesday B-2: I will be collecting the RESEARCH PAPERS. This is the last day to hand them in. We will then be playing a review game of the Russian Revolution and WWI for a test on Friday.

Thursday A-2 will be handing in their RESEARCH PAPERS. This is the last day to hand them in with out losing points.  We will then have an open notebook test on WWI and Russia

Friday B-2 will have a test on WWI and Russia. We will then ask students what they know about the 3 Dictators after WWI.

WEEK OF APRIL 4 - 8

On Monday B-2 will be looking at the end of WWI with the Treaty of Versailles. We will then start looking at the Russian Revolution.  We will be doing a walking museum on Russia. Here is few pictures to get you started.  We will then have time to start typing the research paper. The last day to hand in the Research paper will be next Wednesday.

Wednesday is a half day and we will be taking some notes on the Russian Revolution that can be found here.

Thursday B-2 will be working on making little CIA fact cards on the main players of the Revolution.
Students will then change the lyrics of  Bob Marley's I shot the Sheriff to fit to the Russian Revolution. I will be collecting the last summary of All Quiet on the Western Front Chapters 11 and 12.



Friday A-2 will be doing the same as B-2 on Thursday.
