WEEK OF MARCH 31 - APRIL 4

LAST WEEK OF THE 3RD QUARTER!

Monday students will spend time organizing their notes on their research paper.
We will then take a few notes about the Dictators after WWI. The notes are here.
The big 3 are: Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin

Here is Joseph Stalin. He stopped applause with buzzer because no one wanted to be the first to stop clapping. Pretty boring. Notice the bottle that he drinks from. It is not water.

Tuesday and Wednesday CP1 and CP2 students will be in computer lab working on Research Paper.
Honors will be working on a movie trailer for All Quiet on the Western Front.
WEDNESDAY IS LAST DAY TO HAND IN MAKE UP WORK!

Thursday students in CP1 will be looking further at the relationship of Stalin, Hitler and Mussolini had learning about them by playing the dating game.

Friday students will be writing some fun letters and stories about the big 3.

END OF THE QUARTER!

WEEK OF MARCH 24 -28

Monday will find us looking at the Russian Revolution that starts with WWI. We will be taking a few notes and looking at the major players. Here are the notes.



Tuesday and Wednesday students will be making CIA fact sheets about the major players of the Russian Revolution. Can you name them?
    


Thursday will find us reviewing for the test on WWI and Russian Revolution.

Monday students will be matching up their library notes with their blue prints to get paper structure for their research paper.

Tuesday - Thursday will be a movie All Quiet on the Western Front.

Friday we will have a quiz on WWI

WEEK OF MARCH 10 - 14

Monday I will be collecting homework packets. Students will take notes on the beginning of WWI and Alliances. This video helps explains how hard the alliance system was.




Tuesday students will see a movie on the start of WWI.

Wednesday students will be looking at some of the new weapons of war. I will be collecting note cards on research papers. It is a half day!

Thursday we will be looking at how the war progressed. Major battles, trench warfare and casaulties.

Friday we have a WWI simulation.

WEEK OF MARCH 3 - 7

Monday and Tuesday will have us finishing our game of Countries and Alliances. This will tie in with the start of WWI. Students will get a homework packet that will be due next Monday.
