WEEK OF NOVEMBER 25 -27

Monday will find us finishing the Scientist Yearbook.

Tuesday we will have a test on Renaissance, Art, and Scientists.

Wednesday is a half day and we meet for 10 minutes where we have a quick fun activity.

WEEK OF NOVEMEMBER 18 - 22

Monday we will finish with the Art Presentations. Students will get homework this night on Beethoven and Mozart. It will be

Tuesday we will be listening to Classical Music and discussing the revolution in musical art.

 Wednesday through Friday students will be looking at the scientific revolution. They will be creating an important scientist yearbook of the major players of the Scientific Revolution such as  Galileo and Newton.

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 12 -15

Tuesday will finding us having a notebook check and going over the homework packet on the Renaissance.

Wednesday and Thursday will find us in the library researching our individual pieces of art that we will have oral presentations on.

Friday will find us having a quiz on Renaissance and schools or art. We will start the oral presentations on pieces of art.

WEEK OF NOVEMBER 4 - NOVEMBER 8

This week we are exploring the Renaissance and the world of Art.




Monday will find us looking at the different schools of Art. We will start with the Classical, Medieval and Renaissance. We will then be looking at the other major schools of art. We will look at Romantics, Realists, Impressionist, Post Impressionist and Abstract/Modern.

Tuesday will find us finishing up the schools of art. We will then introduce to students on how to look at art elements such as proportion, color, and emphasis.

Wednesday we will be in the computer lab until Friday critiquing 20 important pieces of art. Students will then be finding a piece of art on their own to research and present to the class.

Thursday I will be collecting the homework packet.
