Monday will find us in the computer lab finishing up our Fake Facebook pages on Henry VIII and
Elizabeth I
Tuesday we will be going over the homework packet for the Protestant Reformation. This will be getting us ready for a quiz on Wednesday. We will then role play the Spanish Inquisition to show the stress of religion on Catholics and lengths some one go to stop the Reformation .
Wednesday we will have a quiz on Protestant Reformation. We will be getting a homework packet that will be due in a week. We will also start looking at the Renaissance.
Thursday we will be taking a few notes on the Renaissance and looking at what it is and what it did to society and the world.
Friday we will finish up the notes and start looking at our next revolution: art. We will start looking at some of the new techniques invented. We will look at the Classical, Medieval and Renaissance Art

WEEK OF OCTOBER 21 - 25
Monday will find the students going over the Venn diagram on Protestants and Catholics. Students will then be given a vocab word to draw the definition of.
Tuesday will find us looking at Martin Luther. We will read about him and take a little comprehension quiz.
Wednesday will find us making an FBI most wanted poster for Martin Luther. It is a half day.
Thursday we will look at the effect of Protestant Revolution in England with King Henry VIII and his daughters.
On Friday we will be finishing up on Mary Tudor and Elizabeth I

WEEK OF OCTOBER 15 - 18
Tuesday will find us starting a new unit. We will be looking at the Protestant Reformation. We will be taking a quick pretest. Then we will be introduced to Revolutions. This will be the theme for the rest of the year. Students will be given a Freyer Model which will help us define and understand Revolutions.
Students will be given a homework packet that will be due on Monday of next week.

Monday we will collect the Middle Ages Project. We will also finish up the Cathedral activity.
Tuesday we will look at the crusades and their impact. This religious war brought a huge change to western society such as building techniques, food items such as lemons and oranges and ideas such as algebra.
