WEEK OF JANUARY 26 - 30

Monday students will be getting a homework packet. This will be due next Monday.

Monday we will finish our Museum walk of the Industrial Revolution. Students will getting some notes on the Industrial Revolution.
 They can be found here.

Tuesday we will finish the notes on Industrial Revolution. Students will be given a vocab word on the Industrial Revolution.

Wednesday students will present vocab word. Then we will be looking at the new inventions of the Industrial Revolution.
    
      


Thursday students will get a quick overview of the Technology of the I.R.


We will also be going over city life. We will look at tenements, stores and items such as skyscrapers.

Friday students will work on their homework packet that will be due on Monday.

WEEK OF JANUARY 19 - 22

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are Midterm Exams.

WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY are HALF DAYS
Please bring a number 2 pencil.

Friday we are going to start the Industrial Revolution. Our next revolution: Technology.
We will be working on vocab words to get us going on our new unit.

Here is a quick survey for you to take if you want.

WEEK OF JANUARY 12- 16

Monday and Tuesday students will finish their America's travel diary. This will be due at the end of the period on  Tuesday.

Tuesday students will get review sheet for Midterm Exam

On Tuesday students will have a couple of homework sheets to go with their diary.

Wednesday students will have a quiz on the Americas.

Wednesday through Thursday we will be reviewing for the Midterm Exam

Friday will be review for Midterms except for G Block who will have their exam on Friday.

WEEK OF JANUARY 5 - 9

WELCOME BACK!!!!

 Our Midterms are coming soon (3 weeks).

Monday will find us starting the Americas. We will do  an introductory activity on the Americas. This will show the contributions of the Americas to the World.

Tuesday students will work on a map of the Americas. Students will be working on a map of South America.
Students will receive a homework on the Americas.  The sheets are here.

Wednesday we will be shown some visuals on the Americas. Such as
    

  


 and for culture diversity we will look at


    

We will discuss how the Americas with the Columbian Exchange. Then we will look at how the South Americans saw the Revolutions in France and the United States and wanted the same for themselves. The political structure was very discriminatory

 .

Then we will start the Latin America Travel Diary. This will take the rest of the week to finish it. This is a test grade.
