WEEK OF FEBRUARY 25- MARCH 1

Monday will find us glad to be back from vacation! We will start back by going over the DBQ's. We will then be spending about 15 minutes on our Africa Maps.  We will then be asking students to think about what imperialism is and the consequences. We will compare it to Avitar.



Tuesday Ms Getchell will be in class discussing schedules for Sophomore year.

Wednesday will find the students taking some notes on imperialism. Those notes will  be found here on Wednesday afternoon. This will lead to a discussion of the conflict that will come along with Europeans push to control Africa, India, China and the Pacific.



 Here is a video that shows how Africa is still dealing with Imperialism using Uganda.

Wednesday the students will be starting a simulation activity that  goes with Imperialism and Alliances.

Thursday and Friday will find us in the Library starting our research on the Research Paper. Students must have notes.
Honors will have 30 note cards
CP1 will have 20 note cards
CP2 will have 15 note cards

WEEK OF FEBRUARY 4 - 8

Monday will find us taking notes on changes of the industrial revolution.  The notes can be found here.

Tuesday will find us discussing and going over women's roles and Charles Darwin.

 Wednesday we will be putting Darwin to the test with a game that incorporates Social  Darwinism and Capitalism. We will go over homework packet.

Thursday is a quiz on Industrial Revolution. Students will also be given a DBQ or Document  Based Question.

Friday we will be cleaning our notebooks out and having a notebook check. I will be collecting DBQs.
