WEEK OF JANUARY 30 - FEBRUARY 2

Monday will find us writing our opening intro paragraph to our research paper using MOBATHBLUE.
Motivator, Background, Thesis and 3 blueprints.

Tuesday will find us going over inventor charts and homework packet on Industrial Revolution. We will take a few notes found here.

Wednesday will find us taking a quiz on what we have learned about the Industrial Revolution so far.

  Thursday and Friday will find us in computer lab making scienctific trading cards.

    This is what they may look like when done except for inventors of the Industrial Revolution.

WEEK OF JANUARY 23 - 27

This week will be a research week.

Monday will find us finishing up our business game and discussing the results and ramifications.

Tuesday we will be going over the homework packet and getting ready to due research in the library. We will be learning about notecards and refreshing on works cited.

Wednesday - Friday will find us in the library working on research. Students will have homework during the week.

Not the most exciting but a good demonstration of the changes in life from one of agriculture to one of urbanization and technology.

Tuesday will find us getting a research paper that will be started. Students will research in history. They will be graded in ELA on their writing and on documentation. History will grade on information and whether students have proved their thesis.  Tuesday will also be notes on Industrial Revolution.

Wednesday will be finishing notes. Students will also see how the Industrial Revolution started in Great Britian.They will also be introduced to the new inventions and inventors of the period.

Thursday and Friday the students will be playing a game about the being business people in Great Britain. Homework  packet on Industrial Revolution will also be due Thursday.

Friday research topic will be due.

WEEK OF JANUARY 9 -13

Monday will find us finishing up our work on the travel diary of the Americas. This is a test grade.

Tuesday will find us going over the information on the diaries.

Wednesday will be a quiz on Americas. It is a half day.

Thursday will be an introduction to the Industrial Revolution. Students will take notes on life before and after the Industrial Revolution. Students will receive a homework packet that is due next Thursday.

Friday the students will look at why the Revolution started in Great Britian and we will play a game to see how this happened.

WEEK OF JANUARY 3- 6

Welcome back from a boring vacation. The good times are back again!

Tuesday we will be reviewing the ideas of government and revolutions.

Wednesday we will be introducing the Americas and their importance on our culture and European culture. The students will be assigned a project on the Americas.

The Students will use class time on Thursday and Friday to complete the Americas project.
